Potter Puppet Pals in "The Mysterious Ticking Noise"

Cicierega's more recent animation projects are vastly different from his original animutation style. In 2003 and 2006/7, he created five parts in a series named "Potter Puppet Pals," a spoof on Harry Potter with all the characters played by hand puppets. Characters in the cast have included Harry, Ron, Hermione, Snape, Dumbledore, and Voldemort. So far the episodes involve: simply bothering Snape, saving the school from Voldemort in a manner not typically used by wizards — namely, Uzi sub-machine guns — a day in the Potions classroom, Harry dealing with emotional issues (with profanity bleeped for humorous effect). In the latest installment, Snape, Dumbledore, Ron, Hermione, and Harry sing along to the beat of a "mysterious ticking noise." Two of the episodes are animated using Flash (Bothering Snape and Trouble at Hogwarts) but the other three episodes are real-life, and the puppets are made of felt. The puppets (from 'Potions Class' onwards) and set (from 'Wizard Angst' onwards) were made by Cicierega's parents.
